I would enjoy those even if they did not play a note. Simply beautiful. Smart move on their part knowing their market. I wonder how the overall balance of the speaker is affected?

Here's a close up pic of the speakers using a ribbon tweeter.
Others in Sf's lineup did a SE version couple years ago that stuck a ribbon in place of tweeter.
As to the mark you show, only rare/vauge references and mostly around China market. Sf was going through some interesting change in that timeframe, less Italian and more Marketers.

I got the pics of the Sonus Faber Stradivari Homage speakers that used a ribbon tweeter in a Japanese stereo magazine.
So it was probably made for the Asian market.
