Just wondering if anyone has experience with the SEAS KingRO4Y kit being sold by Madisound. I'd love to get some reports on its sonic performance. It appears to be a compact system with deep bass for its size. And given the info from SES including the graphs it seems it should be open and dynamic.

The one thing both Madisound AND!! Seas have proven over DECADES!! Is they do put out great speaker kits . Not like a lot of other companies that pack in their highest priced drivers - regardless of the result.I've put together several Seas/Madisound/Zaph audio kits. Don't worry - they are all good. Different but good.
However, if I were to get a smallish speaker with a GOOD amount of bass and a long proven track record I would look towards their Seas A26 kit.
the Seas L26 is one of the finest subwoofer drivers in the biz. And I have used Seas coaxial/full range speakers, not this particular one, but I was always very happy with all of their drives. They all performed as claimed.

I'm sure the A26 is a fine speaker. I'm well aware of SEAS drivers and kits. I currently use the FROY 3 speakers(designed by a good friend). But the A26 is not quite what I'm looking for. I suspect the SEAS King will go deeper with better power handling and deeper bass. And I'm really interested in that speaker only at this point.
I always wanted to build one of those.
I hope you build the RO4Y. I'm sure there are plenty of people that are VERY interested in your review.
keep us posted

Ive heard it not a bad option if into dynamic type designs. Images well bass is good for its size.
Thanks. Knowing SEAS drivers and kits, that gives me an idea of what's going on.
