Thank you very much for advices for all above. I heard highs of 2a3 is better than that of 300b. I do not have any experience with 2a3. Maybe 3.5W might be too low for my speaker to handle low notes. I am looking for low watt amps with decent sound. I saw ad. for VAC Avatar with el34pp but it might be too much for my speaker. I wonder whether I can use it as a single el34 amp. using only 2 el34 tubes. thanks again and enkoy your system. James
A few amps to choose from:
McIntosh MC-30 or MC-240
Heathkit UA-1/2, WM-4 or 5
Marantz 2 or 8b
Music Reference RM-10
VAC 30/30
Bruce Moore made a tube ~60Watt stereo amp- can't remember the model-
any of the Shindo amps-
Leek TL12, TL50, Stereo 50
Quad II
Dynaco ST70-
SHerwood integraded
HH Scott 299, LK50
Fisher 80AZ, SA100
You are looking for excellent transformers to handle the load- and decent - but not too much power-

Find that amp and you're done!
You definitely want an amp that produces as little background noise as possible. I'm not sure if any of the ones you've mentioned qualify.
IMO you would be better off with a decent (?) PP amp of around 12dbw or 15dbw 16-32wpc watts RMS with a 4 ohm tap on the OPT.
Three or less amplification stages.
NFB per stage? limited to what is audibly necessary for each stage.
Loop NFB? again the least that works.
CCS loaded splitter/driver stage. OR an inter-stage transformer.
PSU? SR SS diodes (schottkys) into an LCLCLC.... PSU and one with as much storage as you can afford.

This speaker is rated at 4 ohms (average?). I looked at the electrical load curve and it was hard to read due to the scale. Based on this, I'm not sure if it's sensitivity trumps its potentially difficult load characteristics. You'd certainly be OK with a higher powered SET (211, 845, etc.) or even a 300B, but i would hesitate to recommend a 2A3 or 45. You'd have to hear them on your speakers.
