Hi of course they are just wonderful
Unfortunately never listened to them but i see than on audioreview.com they have got full marks from all the people judging them.
It must be a record.
Do they sound so perfect ?
Thanks.
Kind regards,
bg
They are very good...a true legendary speaker that can be had for sane money. The downside is that you can't really drive them with the best amps, but I know a few hybrids that are up to the task and also don't cost a fortune.
Hi and thanks a lot again for the very valuable advice
I still think they should have sold the patent to some manufacturers
A splendid sound starts from a splendid driver
The best concepts deserve to be perpetuated
The look is just the cherry on top ... wonderful indeed !
Thanks again
Kind regards,
bg

The patent has long since expired...feel free to build your own drivers and market them.
I would argue that Piega has improved on what Infinity did as did Bohlender Graebner.
I guess that the complexity of the concept is out of reach for any diyer
Now i understand that Piega have something similar
I have never listened to them but they look serious indeed.
And they are priced consequently
I wonder how much would a big Infinity system cost today ... a fortune
Thanks again.
Kind regards,

I can't tell from your post but if this is something that you are considering acquiring be sure to get and use the grills. They actually form part of the speaker and you'll have near-field diffraction problems unless you use them.
I think all of them were black, leastwhile mine are even though the speakers are oak so they should still look OK with them on.

Nice, but I am sure no replacement parts are available knowing Harmon.
if they are for sale, looks brand new.
Still, one of the very best ever built!
I remember seeing them at Sound Advice in Orlando back in the early 90's - but never in gloss black - very nice!

.
I would be one proud sumbitch to have those speakers in my listening room!!

buy them!
The greatest impediment to advancing an audiophile system is the audiophile.
They are beauties!
