Is anyone using the Soundcare SuperSpikes underneath their floorstanding speakers?
Follow Ups:
FYI, I purchased the SuperSpikes and installed them on my ProAc Response D30R floorstanding speakers (M6 size).
I didn't notice any difference in sound but now my wife is no longer worried about scratching our hardwood floors.
The SuperSpikes are extremely well built and provide a very sturdy/stable (non-scratch) solution for my speakers.
Highly Recommended!
Yep I bought them a long time ago for my Target stands, holding my Triangle Titus monitors, after we had the carpet replaced with Pergo fake wood mostly all over the house.I can't say I 'heard' anything different ... ??? The Pergo actually didn't seem to make much difference either, as it has damping layer underneath to absorb footstep 'clicks'. I was afraid it would really add to the room echo but didn't seem to ... maybe I'm just not that sensitive to all that. I do listen in the nearfield tho, so maybe that helps things not matter so much.
So ... yes I have them, no, I can't say whether they help or hurt the sound! sorry ...
