Yes. But the inductance has not gone up, so the low end response may suffer.

Yes. I would think the -3db point would double, but maybe not do to the plate resistance of the output tube.
Anyway there's really not enough inductance in any gapped transformer for bass to start with.
Bi amp with SS for the bottom and all is well.
My 2 cents, gleaned from the article linked below on Mike's website and my personal experience. I crossed the bottom end out of my 300b SET amp and everything else got better.

Mike wrote an article in Sound Practices that explained exactly that. He recommended that one use a transformer in the application for which it was intended. There is a DS-050 for the 5k ohm application.
