The other month I posted about what to look for and came up with Audio magizines, Silk and china products. Audio seemed to expensive to bring back. But what to take? I have some nice tubes, RCA NOS 6sn7s, other vintage used 6SN7s. Telefunken smooth plates 12AX7s varios other 66SL7s and the like that I dought I'll ever use. Is there anyone near Yokosuka that would be interested in this stuff??Thanks
Hello,
If time permits give me a call and we can swap tube stories. I live in Zama chi, in between Atsugi NAF, and Yokosuka. I work at Atsugi NAF. Have a great trip.

It really depends on whether you are bring (to) or (back).(to): lots of cash, a good English-Japanese (Nihon-go) traveller's guide, some directions to good audio places (like Sakuma Susumu's little cafe...)
(back): Audio stuff: depending on your budget you can get some Elekit TU-series 2A3 amp kit back from Japan (specify for 120V AC!). If budget permits Sun Audio stuff is great. Furthermore go visit Akihabara district for specials on electrical goods (remember Japanese uses 100V 60Hz AC!!). Other stuff worths considering: speaker components, drivers (TAD), Hino Audio stuff, etc. Transformers such as Tango, Tamura, Noguchi, Nature Sound, etc.
Perhaps you can bring back a decent-looking Japanese girl for me. I luv Nihon gals!
