I always thought this was one of their better songs--and they had quite a few excellent tunes (many more than their "one-big-hit" status would suggest).

I don't remember this being a hit but I agree this track and others on the album I liked better than the "hit". I still have this LP.

That album was loaded with songs that should've been hits, IMO.

Thanks. One of the bands subject to programmers only remembering one song. I sure didn't know that song reached 37. Wonder whatever happened to the band. I would guess a lot of pressure to recreate another Walking On Sunshine.
It was called "Love Shine a Light." It won the 1997 UK Eurovision competition. Then they dissolved, and a lot of legal wrangling ensued. According to Wikipedia, they apparently reunited for a festival in Spain in 2013.
They really did have a cache of great songs that coulda/woulda/shoulda hit the charts if programmers had been more receptive. It's a shame, but not exactly unheard of in the history of rock: one song coming to define a band, even though they have a lot of other quality material.
