...at the Greek Theater in Berkeley with a 9 piece band. Gorgeous night in the high 70s. Warriors coach Steve Kerr walked by and got a standing ovation in the middle of one of Simon's first songs. Simon laughed and said he was going to walk across the court when Curry was shooting a 3-pointer. Toward the end he mentioned Muhammad Ali's passing and played The Boxer. After 25 songs he ended the night with an acoustic solo version of the "Sounds of Silence". Great show!

at one of the best "sounding" venues in town (McFarlin Auditorium on SMU's campus), was one of our all time favorites.

Paul is definitely not resting on his immense laurels. The album shows a creative curiosity that is pretty compelling, even for an artist far younger than he. I'd love to see him live, but I don't get around too well anymore. Sounds like a fantastic night!

reelsmith's axiom: Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.
I saw the tribute to Ali. Nice touch from a A class musician.
