the only Hi-Rez is in FLAC. Not usable on my MAc, so I am converting them all to ALAC and they hang on to their resolution. Halfway done and still have not listened to them. The FLAC files I saved to a thumb drive and will use that to listen in HR on the OPPO with the Maggies.
And so it goes.....

One more day.I wonder what Betties are next.
Moved back to Wednesday I bitched about the ups/ usps handoff system, little did i know fed ex/usps,is even slower. Why bother saying 3 to 5 days shipping, when it all takes 2 dang weeks., o well
Reverse psychology.
LWR- did you buy the whole set?
the only way to get any of it is get all of it
Did you have any of these materials previously?
but other Betty tapes I do have...
Does the set meet your expectations? I know you have a special connection to the GD and an extensive musical collection to boot.
The Red Rocks shows are highly regarded. How about the other (3) shows in this latest boxed set?
Red Rocks is good though. It does meet my expectations, I cannot speak for the CD versions, just the 24/192.
LWR-
I have been reading various comments/interpretations on this 78 boxed set,
many DeadHeads are saying that the numbers are a little tipped up and/or a faster tempo? What are your listening thoughts?
LWR- have you listened through the complete sets?
keep me posted.
Bertha leaps from the Maggies in all it's glory. Good clear sound, terrific highs and Lesh's bass is strong as it should be. This is epic recording quality and production.
