Hard to believe it was 40 years ago today "Frampton Comes Alive" was recorded inside San Francisco's late, lamented Winterland. Got to watch most of show bein' recorded outside Wally Heider truck, until cops chased us away. Someone then opened upstairs balcony door, & that harmonic history flowed out onto Steiner-n-Post. Less than a year later, Frampton was touring "Comes Alive" in front of 60,000 Frampstoners across the Bay for Days On the Green 1 & 2 @ Oaktown Colisseum! With big-Mac attack Fleetwood Mac, Gary Wright, & Michael Schenker-era UFO sharing bill. 73s para Sactown
Follow Ups:
I bought the 1st CD set that came out way back when. Then, the "expanded or complete concert" editions came out making an already excellent concert, simply outstanding! Must have been something to witness back in 1976.
Colombian gold and Frampton just rocked it in Minneapolis

No doubt, one of the very best "live" albums of the Rock era.
...I'm seeing him at Wente Vinyards in Livermore, CA in August.
