By Chuck Berry. John Hammond does a nice version.
I wish he'd stuck with the Gibson but if he had he wouldn't have that Ferrari. Ole Slowhand has done well for himself, let's face it.
I hope he helps out Ginger.

He hoped and prayed that there wasn't an afterlife. Then he realized there was a contradiction involved here and merely hoped that there wasn't an afterlife.

I like it, let us hope the EC has outstanding driving skills?
Looks like little of the budget went into aesthetics.
For a Ferrari, that's pretty darn ugly.

reelsmith's axiom: Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.
the corner pub for a pint."
Hmmm… exactly where does a guy like him drive? Bet he's got a chauffeur. And wouldn't you want to drive something not too flashy so as not to attract attention if you're that well-known?
Cool car.
But it's not really about driving, anymore. Ferrari's are doomed to be garaged cars. The days of seeing guys actually blowing along freeways in them are long gone.
That's the first thing I thought about. Where does Eric Clapton drive this car? Around the country side of Scotland? The Hamptons? Carmel? You need to go to Germany to get this thing out of second gear.
Oh the agony and the problems of the rich and famous.

Not in the condition of your photo.
A friend & I were thinking of restoring a late 1960's Fiat Dino Spyder. And even these are hitting crazy $$$. But what a great little car.
We decided to stay with restoring BMW 2002's.
A guy tried to sell me a spider with a spider design on the hood. I think he wanted $2500. I said no go. This was back in late 70s. After all, FIAT means fix it all the time.
!
Hey Fiats are low mileage because they've been towed everywhere. Rimshot
I had a Triumph Spitfire. Now don't tell me THOSE are crazy expensive!!
I also owned 15 shares of Berkshire Hathaway and sold them to finance my own crappy business ...

I'd get a Spyder.

all the best,

that gives me wood!
... the exhaust is properly tuned.
(:~ )
Now, it's not as cool as Emma Peel’s Lotus Elan (or the really bitchin’ Europa), but that is a nyssssss car.
... but it doesn't work quite as well, for me at any rate, from the rear.
Something about the roof line just isn't organic enough for my tastes.
Wouldn't kick it out for eating crackers in bed, mind you -- just sayin'.
all the best,
