What a treasure trove of music from one of my favorite bands. Just found out about this the other day when it was released and am equally knocked out/delighted to have it.
If you even vaguely like Can, you'll love this set. If you don't know who Can are check out the linked article/review for a good primer.

They're best on vinyl. I think the earlier Spoon or Harvest pressings
have never been improved on. They were contemporaries of Hawkwind and
Amon Duul 2, the golden age of FX psychedelica. Regards,
J.R.
It sound like they are right up my ally. Well I guess I have a new band to seek out and collect, Thanks musetap!!!

I got hipped to them about 23 years ago by a bandmate who said I played bass like Holger Czukay of Can.
I said "Who?!?" You couldn't find their recordings at all at that time and I had no idea who they were.
He made a tape for me. I realized his comment was a compliment. Over the years I've found all their stuff, but the
last 10-12 years their recordings have been mostly readily available..
They became very influential in a lot of music we ended up playing, though I never played bass like Holger Czukay.I'll send you some Can...
But NOT this copy! They ARE right up your alley! That's the beauty of discovering music, it's new and exciting whenever you find it!

right on!!! i am playing the lost tapes right now. really cool unique music. truly improvised rock music - a rare thing.
not the best starting point for those new to can, but an excellent addition to the collections of those who already have ege bamyasi, tago mago, monster movie, future days, delay 68, etc.
hopefully this will be issued on LPs also.

Three double LP sets would be perfect if they can get the track listing together properly as opposed to one (likely expensive) box set.
Can (Spoon) have been pretty good (and smart) with the vinyl re-issues over the past several years.
This set deserves that type of attention and I'd think there's enough of a market to warrant a vinyl issue.
Possibly depends on how sales do with the CD box?
We'll see...
