I want to buy a new guitar cord, the one I have has too much hum. Any recomendations?

Follow Ups:
Typically most of the hum is from RF through your guitar pickups
A good shielded cord is optimal but realize the source of hum
:D
Mogami makes good cables
I am going to try shielding the cavity that has the pickups and electronics, and I did try troubleshooting by removoving the cord from the guitar. The noise got unbeareable, but I forgot to short the free end. I will try that first, then if necessary, try a new cord.
Thanks
