I have experience with both of the cables you mentioned, and have them both here. The JCAT Reference has a more laid back sound that tends to be "richer " sounding with less emphasis on the high end. It is a wonderful cable as I have stated in my review.
The Wireworld has a more extended sound from top to bottom and will be less forgiving in the midrange. With my gear, the Wireworld is preferred; even over the Synergistic Research, as I feel it allows more information to get through and is the most revealing.
Thanks visiting AudioStream.

This one a camera store in Palo Also; Keeble & Shuchat Photography.
That after 51 years!
Both stores on either side of California St. gone.
Sad.
They were having a close-out sale so I picked up a Belkin 1 meter USB A-B cable for just $2.50.
A $10-$12 value!
I know it's audiophile quality as the molded ends are a bit different color than the cable itself. That's usually the tip-off.
Plus it's got gold plated connectors!
And as it may well be a used cable, it might even be broken in!
Thanks Mercman,
That's exactly what I was looking for, and once again respect your ears, as well as wonderful reviews. Here's wishing you and your loved ones all the best for the upcoming holidays.
And I'll always be watching for your and Michael's reviews, as I find them very education, and in life....., one never stops learning.
And you're more then welcome.
