As far as i can tell, my V2 locks me into 44.1/16, which is fine. But maybe Audio Midi is doing this, although I don't think so.

Do you have the specs for the V2? My Brick V3 did async USB at up to 96KHz/24bit. I believe the V2 and earlier were limited to 44.1 or 48KHz.As for Audirvana Plus, were you able to experiment with various settings? I'm not using it at the moment as I am running Roon these days.

I don't really, but in talking with Gordon over the net, I believe the V2 he just built for me is set up to play 44.1/16 output.
I did have an interesting experience earlier yesterday in that, while my Proton was not connected, Audio Midi (or A+, I'm not sure) had selected it. Later, I deselected it and set up the system completely for the V2, and since then I don't have other choices than 44.1/16, which is fine by me.
I -think- the V2 is limited to 44.1 so that may be the reason you have no other choices.
Fine with me.
