I use Squeeze Ctrl. I believe it's the only one of the SB control apps for Android still being actively supported with bug fixes and enhancements.- Squeeze Ctrl at Google Play

"I believe it's the only one of the SB control apps for Android still being actively supported with bug fixes and enhancements"That's unfortunately the case as far as I see it too.
My preferred app though is still Orange Squeeze. ( The designer doesn't respond to my mails since quite some time anymore - so I guess he's gone out of business)
Squeeze Ctrl obviously comes with more features.
But to me most important is the GUI design to access my data properly and in a convenient way. And that's IMO done better in Orange Squeeze.
I once tried to talk to the Squeeze CRTL guy to apply a bit of reshaping.
Like introducing a 3x6 album art thumbnail listing. Hmmh. He became quite rude on that much creativity.However. I do think all of the Android Squeeze Controllers could need a refreshment.
I also had quite a good contact to the iPeng designer.
From the very beginning he refused to build iPeng for Android.
He said, it's much more effort to maintain apps under Android (revisions, flavours and devices).
From his perspective it was and still is not worth the hassle.
Probably most of the Android designers realized that after a while too.
Enjoy.

I just downloaded Squeeze Ctrl and it is much more stable and intuitive than the Logitech App. I was able to control my Raspberry Pi with my phone with no problems.
It was impressive enough that I downloaded SB Player from the same developer as well. That also works much better than the Free one. I used this with a Bluetooth speaker and an old tablet out on the Deck. It's my 'portable Squeezebox'!
