Just a quick note to those looking for bargain prices--MDT has a sale on BIS right now, and between that and the weakness of the pound BIS SACDs/CDs are $10.09 plus a little over $1 shipping. I just completed an order for four, and the estimated total is $44.71 including shipping. If you've been meaning to pick up a few BIS releases, now is the time.

. . . you can check the eClassical site's "deal of the day" (different title every day). For instance, today's title is Villa-Lobos' Bachianas Brasileiras nos. 1 and 4-6 - CD quality download (as well as a 24-bit download!) for $6.07. As I say, the titles change each day, so it's worth checking out.
Come to think of it, I think I'll download today's title myself! ;-)
with the Sao Paulo Symphony. Most have been on QOBUZ for some time and I've listened to most of them several times.

In my system the physical disc sounds better than the download and when the price of the disc is around the price of the download (I'm talking the eclassical specials on new releases), I can't pass it up. The daily specials allow me to cherry pick from the back catalog and get really good deals.
