Thanks! GEO.
I knew Tony Pinciotti in his Chicago days. He's originally from Toledo, so we knew some of the same Detroit area guys. He set me up with my first bread and butter jobbing gig in Chicago. He's also a brilliant player with a very musical sound. Always great to see him performing. He's been in NYC for some time now I guess.
David, you look so much like the late bassist Rob Amster that I do a double take every time I see you on video. Congrats on the band, and say hi to Tony for me.

David has his own new and interesting ideas, but he also shows the influence of familiar jazz classics (like early Miles) and a more than passing familiarity with classical music as well. So the best of all worlds, really.
All fine players, and a particularly good drummer to keep it all together and add spice.I was hooked so looked up the drummer - Anthony Pinciotti - on youtube and came across a really nice CD called Nuance with Lynne Arriale, Randy Brecker and George Mraz
