He made an objective statement that is correct.
Aluminum has approximately 1.5 times the resistivity of copper per unit area. There shouldn't be any debate about that.
When you claim "vast differences" noted during subjective evaluation, you've ventured into a completely different realm. That is a classic audiophile straw man argument.
'Best to just posit copper is more musical than aluminum and leave it at that.

the same as aluminum ? Maybe there are subtle variations that could have an effect on how the speakers sound.
And let me make sure I don't mis understand you :
you are saying that Aluminum wires, interconnects etc sound just the same - at a greatly reduced cost than pure copper interconnects and speaker wire ?

he made it sound awfully subjective and so my reply...
A subjective evaluation of his premise is perfectly within your capability. Two sets of speaker cables (copper and aluminum) with the same LCR characteristics can easily be sourced.
If you can blind test those and do better than 50/50, report back.
Anyways, the comedian's original post was regarding the musicality of copper versus aluminum in a 'transducer' application. Quite a different topic.

I'm still waiting for an explanation why copper is more "musical" than aluminum, and why your aluminum LRS's don't sound like crap.Hopefully that's not too bossy for your sensitive audiophile noodle. :)
