I took the Western Electric amps and preamps out of the place but the Western Electric horns are still in the ceilings not being used. The amp and preamp and power supply were in racks and they were taken out of service years ago and shoved in a closet. They were given to me when Sam bought the place to restore it.I sold them to a guy in Texas back in 2003 for a nice sum because I wasn't into those kind of amps.He was glad to get them out of there. We are cousins on my father's side but the Temple theater was kind of a lost landmark until Sam took the task of restoring it and after a few years he donated it back to the city.Yes,he is quite wealthy and came to Saginaw about the same time my parents did. There weren't too many Lebanese Catholics in there parts other than us and then it grew a bit from there. I could taken the Western Electric drivers out but I'll be dammed if I'm going up in those ceilings to get them..Now it is all redone in 14k gold and they left them in to preserve the original architecture.

I love a live orchestra.
Obviously unamplified. How did it sound?
FABULOUS
We have season tickets and we just got a new director a few months back.
They did Stravinsky Firebird for the first selection and it was identical to the Telarc version with the Cincinnati version.
