I've always liked Freecell since the original version. When I got this Android tablet it had no Freecell. I found a version by Mobilityware that is pretty cool.
First it has a timer and scores each game based on times and number of moves to complete the board. Since I am already pretty good and can solve every game if I take my time getting a high score became my goal. I got u der two minutes and 90 total moves to get about 12,500 points and my new goal is ninety seconds.
I'm at 91 seconds , 86 moves and 15753 points. You can cheat as I see it two ways. First is undo which was not in the original version and the second is to study the board a long time and preplan your moves before starting each game. I don't do this. My thing is if I can't get all the aces up in 15 seconds I quit and go to the next game.
I guess its a little like playing speed chess. Since its a free game ads are a big problem. Some ads can't be skipped and repeat over and over. This is made worseby my speed play as ads come between games. I tried to find a pay version that is ad free but could not. I did find a work around by turning off the Wi-Fi before opening the game.
Give it a try if you can its fun. I need that and crosswords to stimulate my brain in here.

The MS one and I am slowly developing a set of rules / approaches.IME getting those aces up early as a strategy can become a trap if you don't keep the other 4-item cell mostly empty.
For me the task is to keep my impulsiveness and impatience under control.
I am right on the real limit for solving solitaire games. Which is not fare below the theoretical limit with all moves made being 'good'.
?
With both games a move can turn out to have been a bad idea, long after you made it.
That is where the real limit for Solitaire kicks in.
I posted here about this a short while back.

I am using my phone data to go online. So playing an online game is a killer for wasted data. Same for any sort of video content.
If I stick to known websites, they use little data*. So my limited data lasts from month to month.
*Seems a lot of data is all the junk around the item, the layout etc. If use the same site, seems all that is saved in my computer, and the new added data is small.
So I avoid looking at new sites.. And save a ton of data usage.
