But I did go outside this morning to admire my house painting handi-work, and saw my shadow.
Since it's been mid-60s to mid-70s for the past week, I'm hoping for another six weeks of this kind of winter.
Global warming? - Bring it on!
:)
Follow Ups:
I'm a groundhog birthday boy and, for the first time ever, I went fishing on my birthday. Normally this time of year here on the North Coast outside Rochester, N.Y., the creeks are frozen solid. Not today. No ice, no snow. And tomorrow may touch 60 degrees. And I may head out again to try my luck.
BTW, it was a year ago today that we landed in Rochester from Washington, D.C. The moving van made it in a 20-inch snow fall and it snowed for the next 20 days. The temperature never broke above 5 degrees F and looked at each other and asked, "Why the heck did we move here?" It all worked out, though.
Too cloudy today to see my shadow.
I had to dig thru 4 inches of soft snow to find mine cowering like the chicken shit shadow that it is.
.
Nice and sunny just a manageable three hours away. We seem to be missing most of the El Nino weather from the south and the Alaskan fronts from the North.
Hahahahahahahaha!
:)
