I read in this article that he was married to the famous writer Nora Ephron, who died recently. They must have been quite a team. Ephron wrote several stories that made it into movies -- Sleepless in Seattle, When Harry Met Sally, Silkwood, Julie and Julia. Previously married to Carl Bernstein of Watergate fame.
