I will just remember him as an all American good guy from the 70's.
Follow Ups:
is, at least according to the article there will be a (surprise!)play-by-play reality thing and of course, this will feed all the tabloid stuff I will see at the check out counter and be assaulted by commercials on the tele.Too bad he just couldn't have dropped out of sight(I realize it's impossible now)for a year or two, getter' done, THEN we get blasted by the coming out
as expected.I'm just sticking with the image of him waiving his USA flags after killing the decathlon event for gold!

They could make a damned funny sitcom out of the whole thing.
What he does to himself doesn't affect anyone but him, not even his family. How they (and anyone else) reacts to him reveals far more about themselves than anything else.

"Have you a water buffalo?"
I don't think it aired yet but when it does....it's gonna be ugly.

"Have you a water buffalo?"
I didn't pick up on that part. I can understand the need to be up front and out with this, but this sounds a bit much. Ethics and character aren't gender-specific.

Here parents of the 60s and 70s thought long hair on guys was repulsive but can you imagine the reaction to this back then if it were possible to do this transition?

Well, I'm glad you still believe that men are most hot and handsome with a butch haircut.
Me too!

He was a Vietnam vet and she just finished her transition a few years back in her late(r) 50's.
She's in heaven and is now who she always wanted to be/knew who she was.
She's one of the most interesting people I've ever met, too!
It's never too late!

Must have got caught up in the uber out of touch with reality world of his wife and dopey family.
I know were supposed to just "live and let live", but...REALLY?
Reality is stranger than fiction nowadays.
