Every time you face blizzardy conditions with winds gusting to 100 MPH think of what the people of Pelly Bay, Nunavut felt back in Jan. 28, 1989 when the temperature drops to -51C (-59F) with a windchill of -91C (-132F) that day. With these kinds of temperature the exposed skin will freeze in a jiffy...

-91C wind chill? I can't even imagine what that's like. Do mechanical devices like cars and trucks even work at that temperature? Wow. Tough people in that part of the world.
I lived through a -70C windchill during my misspent youth while working for a mining company in northern part of Canada.
I must tell you, it was a bone numbing cold, which went through all my two-layered wool short johns, undershirt, wool sweater, mittens covered fingers and covered with parka body. It wasn't a very pleasant experience but I had a job to do, so I soldiered on.
If that was cold, I can only imagine that -90 will be doubly cold.

Clumsy Calgary thieves break into casino and steal an ATM that had no money in it
National Post ^ | January 29, 2015
The two culprits who broke into a Calgary casino Wednesday morning and made off with an ATM are in for a surprise.
“There’s no money in the machine,” said Staff Sgt. Travis Baker. “If they haven’t gotten into it yet, I’m sure they’re fairly disappointed right now.”
Actually it has been very warm in Calgary in the last two weeks, so I wouldn't be surprise that the perpetrators took advantage of it. It was so warm that I was able to b-b-q some grade 'A' beef today, before the freezer burned 'em up. Anyway, being able to walk around with shorts in the middle of dead of winter is kinda' unheard of in Calgary, never mind being able to b-b-q.
