I always thought I was a lot smarter than what I am doing.
I didn't come out of a "special womb" however, so it is what it is.

length life, rises to his deserved level, don't you? Especially if he's lucky enough to have spent it in this country. For all it's imperfections, it's always presented a lot of opportunity.
I once taught English to some Vietnamese guys who came over here after having gone into debt to the transporters for $5000/each. They got a single-wide and lived in it; often, six guys lived in there. They did day labor until they got enough language skills to take truck driving classes. Then they drove truck for several years. Then, they went in together and bought a truck. Years later, I ran into the oldest brother: they now owned three over-the-road trucks and were doing great.
How many Americans would live through Georgia summers packed like that? And have the self-control to save every penny they earned (and pay back that 5 big before they could start on their dream)?
Sometimes it's those who have absolutely nothing to start with who go through even more hell to make it to where they want to go, usually foreigners. They have an extra incentive so to speak. Hope calling people foreigners isn't racist LMAO. I'm not PC...
It's certainly rude.
Do you call women chicks?
Black people negroes?
Native Americans chief?
... You're a foreigner to me, but, foreigner, is not the first word which comes to mind when I refer to you. :)
Do you call women chicks?
I usually call a woman by her first name or babe, hun, love, baby, sweetie, honey, cutie or bitch. I rarely call a woman, woman!
Black people negroes?
I usually call then by the first name or black fella, darky, black bastard or pale face. I call a back female by her name or the names mentioned above for women.
Native Americans chief?
The couple I know I call by their first name or Pow Wow.
I don't recall anyone in person ever being particularly offended by how I address them.
Now, online, is an entirely different scenario.

At some point, someone must have convinced you that you were amusing.
I bet it was that man that whispers in your ear, the one no one else ever sees.
