Try out the Madisound Fostex P800 and P1000, for a couple hundred bucks you can audition some full range small speakers and if these fit your sound and size needs upgrade to Blumenstiens. For horns, Frugal horns sound great. These are ~4" driver floor standers that are about 48 inches tall. There are many other's if you prefer not to DIY.

Thanks for the inputs and I will look into the 4" full range speakers.
I use the Blumenstein Orca speakers with a variety of amplifiers in my lab. A very nicely crafted speaker.
Have you tried the Orca speakers on the lowly 2 watt output 45 SE amp?
I read the customer testimonials on Blumenstein Audio web page and the lowest output amp mentioned was 4 watt.
Thanks.
You'd be surprised on how loud those lowly 2 watts can be. Check out the user of 45 Stereomours and Orca's on the Bottlehead forum.
I've used the Orcas with amplifiers ranging from the 46 tube(sub 2 watts)to the 211(12 watts).
