We've had well over a hundred visitors since I've first posted about our new MQ page on Facebook and that's quite good for a start. But far fewer of our visitors have hit the "LIKE" button at the top to "friend" MQ.
In the near future the FB page will likely become one of the primary means by which we will be able to communicate with you and the DIY community.
So please feel free to visit us.... it's simple as pie... just go to www.facebook.com and type in MagneQuest in the search engine and it will deliver you right to us!!!
And feel free to post a hello!

Hey Mike,
I would encourage you to re-think Facebook as the main conduit, primarily because it's not publicly accessible. Believe it or not, there are some of us that eschew the whole Facebook thing, and I'd rather not have to create an accout just so I can follow MQ's goings-on.
If you're tiring of the forum, I would think a blog would be a good vehicle. FWIW...
Regards,
John
Hi John:
Thank-you for your feedback. We are also looking at doing a blog and some other alternatives. I anticipate that we will be well capable of reaching our DIY'ers who are not Facebook participants. I'll be providing more details as they become available.

I'm with John. Don't tie your fortunes or anything to Facebook, really. I'll never join and know many others who never will either. "Like"-ing something basically signs you up for spam and ads, so most people won't do that either. Facebook is evil. ;-)

Hi Ed.
Thanks for posting and expressing your concern. As I said in another response in this thread, I plan on having more than one avenue open in
terms of maintaining communications with our customers and friends.
But.. this is interesting and I just saw the stats... the 6C33C schematic I just posted on our MQ forum here I also posted on Facebook. As of a few minutes ago there were 25 page visits to the post here and 63 visits to the specific post on Facebook.
My sense is that we are reaching new people on Facebook that are not visitors to our space here on Audio Asylum. So if we can reach out and establish contact with new people that is a GOOD thing.

Thanks Mike. I appreciate you accomodating us curmudgeons.
