I initially liked them under my CD player and preamp but grew weary of components constantly sliding off the back or the shelf.
But I do still have a couple Symposium Svelte shelves that work nicely for sliding heavy component across the floor. My nephew made 4 machined aluminum blocks that worked well as an interface. Still have those also.

Just another useless retort from Geoff. Aluminum is likely no match for brass. Points on the brass footers will sound better than a flat surface. Consider moving over to the Tweaker's asylum where there was the good sense to ban you know who.
You're right. Let Geoff play with himself, or by himself, as the case may be. Time to get back to work.
It's a waste of time to share anything here.

Well, if forced to choose I would say revolt. Hey Geoff, where can I buy the 54AWG speaker wire you so often touted? I don't seem to be able to find it. I'm so sure it would sound great for about 3 or 4 milliseconds. T
I'm getting the weird feeling you guys actually think Isolation Ward is supposed to be about the subject of vibration isolation. We covered that Subject thoroughly twenty years ago. Hel-loo! We have a very high tolerance for trolls here, as you have probably surmised, so feel free to ask a lot of not very swift questions. They're pretty hungry for fresh meat over at Tweakers so you might consider giving them a shot. Things have been real slow over there since my and Stu's departure.
