"... the OMEGA MIKRO Power Cords ... and found them to be superb for use up to 900 watts continuous, 1800 watts peak, probably the best I have had in my system. Matter of fact, now use them on all of the most important equipment...Had seen and heard their loudspeaker wires years ago at Clark Johnsen's Listening Studio, where they were his primary cable, but had been afraid to use them as they were super thin..."
"Before I get into the superlatives, have to list a big problem with them. These cables are super-fragile, especially the Planar Ebony(Vlll). The foil is so thin (one can almost see through the Ebony) that even a small tug on the wire in the wrong direction will break it... Happily, Omega has a 30-day no questions asked return policy and will rebuild them for a very nominal charge in the first few months."
"So, were they worth the trouble? In a word, YES!! These are the best all around sound-wise interconnects I have ever hear(d)".

900 watts continuous?????? You have your own stadium where you live? I'd like to see the math on that Geoff. Ever heard of math??
Have I ever heard of math? Yeah, I think I must have taken math. A lot of math. I was senior mathematician at NASA. Hel-loooo!
What does this response have to do with 54AWG SPEAKER CABLES Geoff? Do you think Sprey and his partner are so dumb that they wouldn't be looking at the current carrying capacity of any wire they were using for any application? I certainly doubt it. No such thing as Mapleshade or Clearview 54AWG SPEAKER WIRE.
.
Yes THEY were 56 AWG not 54. THEY meaning the INTERCONNECTS not the SPEAKER cable. Got that? INTERCONNECTS, NOT SPEAKER CABLE. INTERCONNECTS,NOT SPEAKER CABLE. INTERCONNECTS, NOT SPEAKER CABLE. Interconnects carry EXTREMLY little current. Speakers can demand a number of amps. AMPS. That's AMPERES. No Milli in front of it. Even so , what's one gauge difference among friends.
.
The average current required for most speakers is actually milliamps. As I already said at least twice. No one said the peaks couldn't be more than one amp. If you're trying to convince us you're dense you're doing an excellent job.
