My twist following Geoff Ks lead was to put my 2 SVS Ultra subs on large boards under which are his springs
I use a Gramma platform under my sub and it makes a huge difference.
I also have smaller versions under my speakers, as well as the rest of my equipment. The Machina Dynamica website tells you why
Back in the LP daz I had a friend that had all the Electronics in another room with closed doors now that was clean
Thanx Bill
That wouldn't prevent seismic vibrations from getting into the electonics but it would help with the subwoofer feedback. I heard of folks drilling holes for the cabling in their refrigerators and putting all the electonics inside. The only thing missing would be those washing machine Isolators for the fridge.
Some opinions are couple the speakers and isolate the equipment
gotta try it
Thanx Bill
Pretty good strategy. But wouldn't it get kind of expensive to isolate all the equipment? Isolating the subwoofer only would at least be a start in the right direction. And an inexpensive one to boot. Rome wasn't built in a day.
Take a look at washing machine isolators (cheap)and all the rubber and plastic sites
Thanx Bill
It's settled then. Washing machine Isolators under the subs and hemorrhoid cushions under the electronics.

...maybe the hemorrhoid cushion is in the wrong place.
Why, are your hemmies acting up again?
