Cool - -I remember the first review - maybe in High Fidelity magazine - plus much later. the sound of LS at a local music store on Count Basie, Ray Brown, Louis Bellson's first Pablo "Basie Jam" - i probably prefer it to the Khorn.
are the outer walls 3/4" plywood? - fwiw I've heard stories of LS being only 5/8" but don't know if that was true.
hows the midhorn and tweeter look?

Follow Ups:
It's 3/4 ply. K400 is the usual cast alum. unit, mid and K77 both
the alnico mag. version. I'd date these '65-early 70's'. Top access
woofer models were the early ones.
I,ve only been up close to one pair, but they were 3/4 in. plywood.
