You need a common core on the autoformer, otherwise it will simulate the HF rolling off.

And how do I do that?
Make L3 the primary parallel inductance (like 3 or 4 mhy), make L2 very small as it represents the leakage inductance that is in series.
Why use an autoformer anyway, they have issues R's don't?
Well, I have this idea of winding my own 4mH inductor for a 2nd order 350 Hz HP-filter.
And since the inductance is allready there, why not use it as an autoformer?
also, there are a lot to read about the aural benefits from a autoformer vs. L-pad attenuation.
