I put my T-350 in the old Khorn and is definitely an improvement. This is my first khorn and it goes extremely loud with 1/8 watt test radio!
Follow Ups:
Did you replace T-35, or was it originally a two way?
Big speakers and little amps blew my mind!
I stuck my 350 in there. otherwise it is a stock 3 way Khorn. (not that they ever made a 2 way)
The original Klipschorn was a two-way with the WE713 driver.
"June 2nd, 1951
The first three-way Klipschorn incorporated a Jensen RP203 tweeter. This tweeter came from the famous Jensen G-610 Triaxial 15" driver and required considerable negotiations with Jensen. It was not until mid-1952 that all Klipschorns were three-way. A two-way Klipschorn with response to 12Khz was generally adequate for program material up to that time. The University MID-T- 4401 replaced the Jensen unit as the tweeter of choice later in 1951. "

I always thought "in the beginning" they had a 2-way but PWK didn't care for it so they had to go 3-way to get the range.
Later, as technology improved, he set out to take the Khorn BACK to a 2-way and created the Jubilee which has a higher crossover point (among some other design goals)
The Jubilee came out in time to become the 50th anniversary Khorn but the company didn't feel the same way and it was relegated to the cinema department. You can see it there as a 3-way.
