I'm interested in experementing with Lowther Type speakers (or horns) and don't want to spend too much $$$ (I'm a DIY guy). Any suggestions, web links, horn enclosures ? Thanks (I'm using Bottlehead 300B amps, and foreplay pre).

bobbeanbags,Have to agree with the Moth Audio Cicadas as something to look in to. Should receive a review pair here in a week or so. See link below for info on it... ALWAYS glad to be of service.
Enjoy the music (Roger Waters "Radio Kaos" right now),

"...Benny pointed at a HiFi shop
He said, "Hey man, look at all the stuff they've got!
How'd you make a have out of a have not?"
Hmmmm..."
Hi Steve,
I'm looking forward to your review. Does Moth audio have any distributors? I didn't see any on their website. I'd really like to listen to speakers before buying them, because $650 is a lot to me. Their price is a lot better than a pair of Medallions. olen.
Olen,Alas, believe they are a direct dealer/seller. Still, surely they offer a 14-30 day money back guarantee. You'll have to wait a month or two before the review comes out as the loudspeakers are not here yet :-( . Why wait when you could be enjoying them in your own home for an audition? In the end what REALLY matters is that YOU...
Enjoy the music,
