Oh, I don't know. I guess it's too much like Sweden, or that episode of The Twilight Zone with the little kid who sends people to the cornfield: everything is REAL good! Yes, that new site is SO good, I just can't imagine how we ever got along before they blew up the old site and gave us this nice, new site (where nobody gets offended or uppity!) in its place! Yeah, it's a real, REAL good site!
Follow Ups:
You and dutchman have nothing good to write about a site that focuses on and promotes a format that is important to all audiophiles and should be important to all music lovers. I agree that the new site is almost completely one-way, but you can still like or not like individual issues, and those customer ratings might be important to others. Sometimes the reviews are a bit amateurish (Does anyone proofread their stuff before publishing it? Have they ever taken an English class?), and I don't always come away with a firm impression of whether the disc is really good or not. But there is no other site that concentrates all of its resources on hi-rez. Maybe you guys would like to start one instead of bitching here.
Additionally, how much does it cost to visit the site? Oh, that's right: it's FREE, and does not feature annoying ads or force one to pay a premium for "member access." Not much of that left on the web, and you guys complain.

I complain because of the dictator over there. Nothing more, nothing less. He stalks other sites and emails people over slights people write about him.
You are the one who headlined his post with "EVERYTHING [sic]."
Maybe you shouldn't trash an entire valuable resource because you have a hard-on for someone there. This is obviously personal. If it's his site, I guess he has every right to run it however he thinks is best, whether that's being a dictator (no one else has ever mentioned that, yet you've used the term more than once) or just a plain dick. Try to see past it.
How many reviews have you contributed here? Guess I missed them all.

I already know you're in the bag for him over there. You've said as much. So get over yourself and no I won't quit making comments about the guy. He's never willing to listen to those frequenting his site and threatened more than just me.
Quite right and well said. We are fortunate to have the site and the information it contains, like it or not. I know of no better site, magazine or guide anywhere devoted to music and recordings.
My only disagreement with you is that I find the classical reviews generally extremely well done, knowledgeable and quite reliable. They have never led me astray in building my own collection.
And maybe I was over the top in my sarcasm. I still think that this site here (i.e., AA) could be just as good - certainly for discussion of hi-rez recordings, although the forum categories here sometimes dissipate various discussions on this topic to various different sub-sites here, so that there's no one central source for discussion of hi-rez issues. For instance, there has recently been a lot of discussion of hi-rez downloads over on the music forum here (ever since jdaniel gave up vinyl for hi-rez downloads). And unless something changed over at hraudio.net (and, really, I hardly check that site anymore, so some changes which I'm not aware of COULD have occurred), they still don't allow discussion or coverage of hi-rez downloads there, and that's still a BIG section of hi-rez these days and one which I expect to become increasingly important - unless internet streaming takes over completely! ;-)
If you want discussion here, start posting more meaningful discussion. I get tired of having to wade through some threads because of your and others' pointless chatter. I do really appreciate the occasional nugget or insight, and I believe you have a lot of that to contribute. Frequently the Music forum seems a little too "clubby" to be a site for comfortable exchange of information.

Whom owned sa-cd.net?
is the site an open domain now? If so, maybe some like-minded people can bring it back as a 2.0 version?
He used to go by the moniker, "Zeus". That in itself probably tells you something.
In any case, the conditions have changed, and, at least for me, SACD's are not the force in the market that they once were. Nevertheless, I felt that discussions on the old SA-CD.net site could be interesting and instructive. There's no reason why people couldn't have the same kind of discussions here on AA - as with any other site, it just depends on who is doing the posting.
It's still the best place to get a list of titles, especially new ones coming out. I don't really care about personalities. If you know of another source, please let me know.

I concur- Chris. AA is a forum where we can discuss all things SACD.
Zeus huh, I think Adonis, would have been more vain.
