Hi all,
Has anyone tried it?
Ayre C-5exMP plays SACD-R burned on a DVD-R?
Follow Ups:
I wouldn't just burn it another Disc.
I would have them Converted to Multi-DSD on the fly,
or make DSD 128 Files with Audiogate.
I just don't see the point of what you are proposing.
If you have an SACD, why use it to simply make another one?
I don't like computers and streamers. I have a HDD Player Mingda MDAP-06, but with optical drive sound better.

SACD ISO ripped by PS3 and burned on DVD-R blank
I thought maybe to try burn DSD files burn on DVD-R, it's might read it?
I know the old Ayre was based on an Oppo player so if one can figure out which Oppo it is based on and the Oppo does it, then it's a good chance the Ayre will as well

NAD M5 without problems reading SACD-R on DVD-R, but it is less musical than Ayre C-5xeMP, Bladelius Freja and Marantz UD9004. I want to compare 3 of these players and to try SACD-R and DSD on DVD.
I'll just hang on to my 5400 and SACDs.
