As I guessed it is a different mastering, the SACD being originated from the 2 track downmix from the multitrack rather than from the (subsequent) production master. I assume that there may be a multichannel downmix too.
BTW, there is always a bit of a semantic difficulty when the term "master" is used in relation to recordings. In this case we have three different stages of production all of which can legitimately be called the master.

As I stated above this is a new remix from the original multitrack. Obviously it has also been remastered

Now that there are DSD files, - uh oh...
EQ was almost always applied to the "masters" or final two track, 1/4" reel to reels, during the process of cutting lacquer, or laser burning glass discs.
Un-mastered, - probably means no EQ or compression applied to the construction of the DSD files, or the cutting machine.
