The Sony 5400 and Korg Audio Gate software will make discs and play any hirez format, incl DSD.

But the Korg Audio Gate software will convert DSD to WAV so you'll loose the benefit of having DSD in the 1st place, surely?
So for me, I can download and play any digital format on my 5400/VSE. And that includes my own 24/96 and, I hope soon, 24/192 live rehearsal and Concert recordings of a group I play in. Really cool, IMO!

What I did was to use the Korg Audio Gate software to convert the files to WAV so I could play them. But I kept the original DSD files that I downloaded. Six months later I got a Mytek Stereo192-DSD DAC and now I can listen to the files in their original format.
