Maybe you like the sound of vinyl better, but its dynamic range is narrower than SACD, bass is mixed in mono, and the quality is degraded each time you play it. So objectively speaking, it isn't.

Whether LP bass is mono or not depends on the recording, e.g. type of music, microphone location and length of the sides. As to LPs wearing out, they don't wear out noticeably even after 200 plays if one has the proper setup and follows procedures rigorously, including periodic use of a vacuum record cleaning machine. No doubt a huge PITA, but LP wear is simply a non-problem.
