Wow I'm overwhelmed. I knew I had hearing issues for over 20 years being from the audio/music industry when I was younger. So I finally wanted to do something about it. Went to an audioalogist and was tested. Good news no damage and my 20 to 3500 was great in both ears. But that's where it ended it dropped off steadily to 12000 by about 12db.
He recommended the Oticon alta2 pro TI. It's a mini over the ear with a custom fit open ear plug, which means I still get my natural hearing the the aids are programmed for frequencies above 3500.
It was an awaikining I can hear!!! I didn't realize how much I was missing. Their is also multiple programs at the click of a button, I can choose for speech, music, loud factories. It also has a self auto tune for your environment. I'm listening to beutifull music at much lower levels. Even tv is set real low and everything is crystal clear. They can also not mangle loud volume if I choose to listen loud.
Bottom line- theses things are not cheap you can find them for about 3400 a pair. If you can afford them they will change your life.

Did you go to a dealer or order on line. If ordered on line can you trouble shoot if problems occur.

No I ordered through an audioalogist. But from reputable on line sites they include a audioalogist involvement. I sent them in for the tenitis upgrade. They really changed my life I don't yell at everyone anymore.
Sounds like you have added a high quality tweeter to your ears. Dont know how the crossover works so well. Good for you. Enjoy.

or maybe that's just for aural sex.

There are plenty that cost more that have Bluetooth, remote control and other features.
Do you have receiver in the canal style? Those are really nice. It means the speaker is in the ear canal about a quarter inch from the ear drum. The best for accurate HF reproduction.
You obviously have what is referred to as open fit. Much more comfortable and no occlusion which causes your own voice to sound terrible.
Make sure your provider turned off the compression for the music program. Good luck!
