Where would someone in Albania get Graphene? I cannot imagine that making a very good dielectric for a cable jacket anyway. In fact, I would think it about as bad as one could imagine.
A substance that will be used for making super high capacity capacitors in really small packages - obviously a substance that can hold a great amount of "charge" - the last thing you would want in a cable jacket, I would think ...
Actually, Graphene is finding excellent applications in tennis racquets and, drum roll, audiophile cables. Don't tell me you didn't get the memo about the Cerious Graphene Cables. You can even make the stiff in your basement. I almost forgot, Synergistic is using Graphene in their latest super fuse, the Black Fuse. See if you can guess why they call it the Black Fuse.
But remain mystified that this stuff would make a good dielectric for a cable.
But that never stopped anyone from using an "exotic" material for promotional purposes! Who cares what it sounds like? It's NEW and kinda creepy looking ...
Just took a look at the, until now, unknown to me, CERIOUS cables. So they are using the graphene as a conductor - I guess that is not stranger than van den Hul's graphite cables but I would think the graphite would be more of a linear conductor than graphene.
You would have to agree that graphene would make a terrible jacket for a metal wire cable?
I didn't say it would make a good dielectric for a cable. Graphene is characterized by being mich stronger and stiffer than steel and much more conductive than silver.Uh, nobody said anything about using Graohene for a cable jacket or dielectric. Hel-looo!

which does not impress me.
Saw an old review in 6moons about some other wild concoction for the conductor. This was from 2005.
Maybe they will find a way to talk to monkeys since they are SOOOO scientific.
Anyway, it seems to me the architecture of cables is more important than the materials. Which brings up the old "dancing to architecture" line ...
Djokovich and Murray, ranked 1 and 2 in the world respectively, both use the new Head Graphene racquet. Coincidence? You decide.
