I've been a fan since the release of "The Trinity Session", own a lot of their albums, and I have seen them 4 times.
I have never heard any reference to Llamas.
Can you explain?

Mike Timmins once commented that he could make his guitar sound like a Spittin' LLama. The Llama's was adopted to refer to members of their old Forum board. Margo often would thank the Llama's for flowers, well wishes, etc. at shows.

Never checked out there forum.
One thing I wish I could have had the money to do, was when they did that train trip across Canada. That would been an awesome experience.
The old forum board still exists, though it's fairly dead now. The band was going to take it down, since they've moved on to Facebook and other Social Media more. But it's still there and now and again folks touch bases on it, especially when tours kick in.I had friends who did the train run and loved it.
See ya. Dave
