I've never done CD-to-CD dubbing, so I can't help you there. I always have to rip a CD to my computer first before I can make duplicates.
I'm no live recording engineer, so my experience with microphones, built in or otherwise, is, for the most part, limited to extremely narrow testing projects under highly controlled conditions.
Maybe a more experienced person, who does live gigs, could point you in the direction of a portable CD recorder with micing capability.

Follow Ups:
Don't expect a hand held recorder to be stereo.
Some use an "X-Y" mic configuration, some use a lobotomized ORTF config. I say lobot'd because the spacing is way too close to be a true ORTF. Some have adjustable mic angles, some don't. I "get" all that. I'd prefer an X-Y config for my uses, one reason being it's easier to mix to mono. My question was more about features, build quality, and sound quality.Thanks!

I have had good results with Zoom H4N, for live and Line Level , 24/96.
The slightly wider mic placement was good at not clipping off the edges of the group.
I have had fantastic results with Sony PCM D100 DSD Recorder,
with mics crossed AND Flared, in DSD 64, using Korg Audiogate Softare for editing.
I ran plenty of tests on my Tascam DR-05, both at the line and mic level. Believe me, the recorder produces highly convincing stereo recordings.
