Dust bunnies be damned.
Follow Ups:
usually those floor outlets are bass and have a rubber seal to protect from moisture. Of course too much water can flood anything, and I believe the sockets do need to be grounded per NEMA and UL regulations.
while working at a restaurant I literally sloshed water all over the floor which had those sockets with no issues.
Put a piece of duct tape over the outlet if you mop the floor. And don't flood the place either.
Do not throw your cigarette butts on the floor. The cockroaches are getting cancer.
...of a place I visited to buy tubes. Disgusting. Everything was yellowed from the smokers in the house.
My friend's comment was "I'll bet even the spiders were coughing".
That sent beer out my nose.

Better yet, don't let women clean up the audio room. Rarely understood is the synergistic relationship between very dry and respectable old dirt and well being.
I always thought of dust in the room as coming from space, star dust.
makes for a long life.
