Hi and thanks and sorry again for the silly outburst
Maybe the text is coming from a Google translation ...
But bit and Byte make a difference ... a 8 times differenceThat said i am really impressed by the computer industry around the world
When i see " 12 nanometer technology " i remain amazed ... just awesome !
It seems that there are no limitsWell ... a limit seems to be ... from Wikipedia
" Although Intel has not yet divulged any certain plans to manufacturers or retailers, their 2009 roadmap projects an end-user release by approximately 2020.[1][2]
According to some experts, 5 nm will be the end of Moore's law.[3] "5 nm ... that is small.
Thanks again.
Kind regards,
bg

Beppster, you are exactly write! ;)b=bit, B=byte.
I often see "typos" on webpages, but you'd think that a major manufacturer would hire people who don't make such stupid mistakes with information which is germane and critical to their product descriptions, and you'd think that someone would proofread it before publication.
I've become used to seeing the wrong words being used here on AA and just roll my eyes. People are often "typing" with their thumbs on a cell phone AND don't pay attention to what they've typed. But, seriously, on a company website, that's a major faux pas. (BTW, I've seen mistakes on other manufacturer websites referenced via this forum.)
Edit: OT, back in my younger daze, I ran hurdles. 180 yd low. Never ran high hurdles - they're freakin' high! lol

Hi and thanks a lot for confirming what i suppose
I am trying to understand all these figures
Especially bit and Byte are used very freely and with some confusion
But now it is clear ... when they talk about data transfer speed usually the unit of measure is bit/s with k, M and G in front of it.
Thanks again.
Kind regards,
bg
