An old woman, living in Huntington valley, PA, needs help.
She is an 80 yo music teacher, whose husband departed several years ago.
He left her an audio system, of pretty high caliber - Thorens tt, CJ, Quad speakers, etc.
Unfortunately, at the moment the system is not working, and she is unable to figure out what is wrong and what to do about it.
Would someone be able to stop by and help her figure it out? It might be as simple as just switch positions. She is missing her music badly.
Let me know.

It looks like you have it covered but if it turns out that you do not, I will help. I'm not close but I can't think of a kinder gesture that I would enjoy more. Let me know if I am needed.

Good to see a few local to me. I am in Southampton if everyone else cannot help.
Victor,
If John, for some reason, cannot make it I would be happy to assist. Only a few miles away. And if I fail to resolve the problem I feel confident that I could enlist the help of many nearby members of the Philadelphia Area Audio Group (PAAG), a ragtag collection of lost boys with nice toys.

Thank you Allan! Please send me email with your contact information, to info@balanced.com
Victor
I would be happy to drop by, but the soonest I could get there would be Tuesday evening (8/19). If that works, pm me her details and I'll give her a call.
Cheers,
John
Thank you John! She just left on a month-long trip, will be back at the end of September, I will keep your information handy, and will contact you if it is still a go at that time!
Victor
nt.
I wish I were closer, I'd do it in a heartbeat. True (audio) community service.
