Does anyone know where can I buy a DVD player that plays both American and British DVDs?
Follow Ups:
I have purchased a number of DVDs from England. I use a computer DVD player with a region free program. I use the computer because it
also converts PAL to NTSC (not the best quality) but it works.Software for computer - region free

British DVDs are zone 2 (Europe/Japan), while the USA is zone 1.Most DVD players can be made regionfree, either by a code that is entered with the remote, or by a simple modification that can be done by a service man. Search the internet for the exact model name and "region-free" for more information.
In Europe, a lot of DVD players are made region-free when sold, as many film fans want to be able to watch US DVDs.
This is not illegal, BTW. A DVD player maker that offers region-free players would violate his DVD license contract, but a shop or consummer can legally modify the players afterwards.
If you are in the UK.
Check out richersounds.co.ukLots of DVD players - many multiregion free of charge or about £20 to have modded.
What you need is a "region-free" DVD player. You can find these on eBay, or try electronic stores that cater to the Karaoke crowd. (These usually cater to the Asian crowd, so if you have some Asian friends, ask them if they know of any local stores that specialize in Karaoke stuff).Make sure that the player has NTSC output if you live in the US, or PAL output if you live in Europe.
A friend of mine just bought one on eBay for $80.
