This announcement was made by Warner Music Canada at their exclusive theatrical screening of Madonna's Confessions Tour DVD in Toronto , according to a story dated January 30, 2007 , and titled " Madonna CD catalogue being re-released in 5.1 " , in the News section ( on the front page ) at madonnatribe.com .It would be great to have the entire Madonna catalogue released on 5.1 DVD-Audio .

It sounds like English, but I can't understand a word you're saying.
Cool. However, at this point it's still much too early whether the 5.1 multichannel tracks will be in full Hi-Rez DVD-Audio format or will just be in lossy compressed Dolby Digital and/or DTS format. There is no firm commitment from the new Warner Music Group (now a completely separate company from Time-Warner) about this subject, as WMG's commitment to DVD-Audio was made while it was still owned by Time-Warner.
If the forthcoming Warner-issued North American CD + DVD releases of the Genesis material are to be believed, the new catalog reissues will have no Hi-Rez audio at all whatsoever - and the only non-compressed audio that the new reissues will have will be the 2-channel stereo CD.
But I do enjoy some of her music and a lot of it would translate well to 5.1. I wouldn't buy it without hi-rez tracks, though.
Pity I don`t like her music.
:-p
